Blood of the Earth Project was a cultural research study that explored complex relationships in blood narratives, geological sites , And religious visual imagery. I traveled throughout the Transvolcanic Belt, visiting unique historical sites, creating visual art works, and exploring my own family history.

During my stay in Mexico I studied under the direction of Francisco Guevara and Nayeli Hernandez at Arquetopia Artist Residency in Puebla, Mexico. In my studies I focused on the history of colonization throughout North America - exploring the impacts of the western world, comparing the United States and Mexico.
